• 3M™ Versaflo™ S-Series Powered Air Purifying Respirator hoods are specifically designed to work together with certain Versaflo™ Powered Air Respirator and 3M™ Supplied Air Respirator Systems
• Provides head, face, neck and shoulder coverage from dust and paint spray
• Provides a good field of view
• Helps protect eyes and face from liquid splash and low energy flying particles and dust
• Head impact protection accessory option available for premium hoods
• Versatile accessories available that can help you adapt the hood to your particular environment

Applications
The S-Series headtops can be used with an air-filtering unit to form a powered air respirator system or with a regulator to form a
supplied air respirator system. According to the system chosen, protection is provided against:

Standards and Approvals
The S-Series headtops meet the performance requirements of the following European standards:
Eye and face protection to EN 166 (Optical class 2, low energy impact F and liquid splash 3).
Respiratory Protection to EN 12941 and EN 14594 (see Technical Specification section for more information).

Limitations
Not to be used:
In atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen
In Confined spaces (lack of ventilation)
When the risk is considered to be Immediately Dangerous For Life Or Health (IDLH)
Where the contaminant concentration requires a greater protection factor than that provided by the system (see headtop user
instructions).These instructions provide more information on protection factors.
