How to choose the right one
Use 40 kA for normal distribution boards and 65 kA for main boards in exposed or lightning-prone sites. Use 2P (or 1P+N) for single-phase and 4P (or 3P+N) for three-phase supply; pick 275V for single-phase 230V and 385V for three-phase 400V. Always fit a suitable MCB or fuse in front of the SPD.
