A D Shackle (Dee Shackle) is a forged steel lifting and rigging component used to connect wire ropes, chain slings, webbing slings, hooks and other lifting accessories. Its narrow D-shaped design is especially suitable for straight-line lifting applications. ISO 2415 defines Dee shackles and specifies preferred dimensions according to Working Load Limit (WLL).
