      Installation Guidelines

      1. Surface Preparation – Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease.

      2. Cutting – Use a sharp insulation knife or saw to cut Rockwool Blanket to the required size.

      3. Fixing – Install the blanket between framing members, pipes, or ducts, ensuring a snug fit without compression.

      4. Joint Sealing – Overlap joints tightly and, if necessary, seal with aluminum foil tape for vapor barrier continuity.

      5. Mechanical Support – For high-temperature or vertical applications, secure the blanket with wire mesh or fasteners.

      6. Protective Facing – Where required, apply facing material (aluminum foil, glass cloth) for added performance.

Advantages of Rockwool Blanket over Other Insulation Materials

      • Compared to Fiberglass Insulation – Rockwool is denser, more fire-resistant, and provides better sound absorption.

      • Compared to Foam Insulation – Unlike foam, Rockwool does not burn, melt, or emit toxic smoke in case of fire.

      • Compared to EPS/XPS Boards – Rockwool performs better in high-temperature applications and is more eco-friendly.

      Environmental Benefits

Rockwool Blanket Insulation is made from natural and abundant resources, making it a sustainable insulation choice. It is fully recyclable, does not emit harmful gases, and contributes to energy savings throughout the life of the building. By using Rockwool insulation, you reduce carbon footprint and support green building certifications.

      Storage and Handling

      • Store in a dry, covered area to prevent moisture exposure.

      • Handle with care to maintain material integrity.

      • Wear protective gloves, masks, and safety glasses during installation.
