Description

The Total TBLI20065 cordless heat gun is a ready-to-use kit. It includes a 4.0Ah battery, a charger and a carrying case, so you do not need to buy anything else.

It is a good first cordless heat gun for electricians and maintenance teams. Use 300°C for heat-shrink and plastic work, and 550°C for paint removal and PVC bending. The case keeps the gun, battery and nozzles together in a site bag or van.

How to use it safely

First, choose the right nozzle for the job. Then start on low heat and raise it slowly, because too much heat can burn paint or melt plastic. Also, keep the nozzle moving and hold it a few centimetres from the surface. After use, stand the gun upright and let it cool before you pack it away. Finally, work in open air when you strip old paint, since the fumes can be harmful.
