Description

The Total TBLI2003 cordless heat gun adds an LCD display and fully adjustable temperature from 30°C to 550°C. So you can set the exact heat for the material, instead of guessing between two fixed settings.

That control matters on electronics, thin plastic and car wrap, where too much heat causes damage. It runs on the TOTAL 20V battery and is sold as a bare tool.

Battery and charger

Any TOTAL 20V battery fits. If you need one, add a 20V 2Ah battery (TFBLI20011), 20V 4Ah battery (TFBLI2002) and 20V charger (TFCLI2001). The same LCD model with a 5.0Ah battery and charger is the TBLI20035 kit.

How to use it safely

First, choose the right nozzle for the job. Then start on low heat and raise it slowly, because too much heat can burn paint or melt plastic. Also, keep the nozzle moving and hold it a few centimetres from the surface. After use, stand the gun upright and let it cool before you pack it away. Finally, work in open air when you strip old paint, since the fumes can be harmful.
