Description

The Total TBLI2006 cordless heat gun runs on the TOTAL 20V battery, so you can strip paint or shrink tubing with no cable in the way. It comes with a scraper as well as three nozzles, which makes it the better pick for paint and varnish removal.

Use 300°C for plastic and heat-shrink work. Switch to 550°C for stripping paint or bending PVC pipe. It is sold without battery and charger, so it suits buyers who already use TOTAL 20V tools.

Battery and charger

How to use it safely

First, choose the right nozzle for the job. Then start on low heat and raise it slowly, because too much heat can burn paint or melt plastic. Also, keep the nozzle moving and hold it a few centimetres from the surface. After use, stand the gun upright and let it cool before you pack it away. Finally, work in open air when you strip old paint, since the fumes can be harmful.
